I take it that the original programmers tried to track this down but were unable to find the problem. I'm not surprised. These kinds of intermittent errors that can't be reliably reproduced can be really difficult to find. For most bugs, if you know exactly how to reproduce the problem you're 75% of the way towards solving it. But when you don't know, you have no way to do experiments or to watch things happening. A programmer can come up with a theory about the cause and make a change, but can't test But I'll do what I can with the information you've sent. If nothing else, at least I'll learn more about how the application works and refresh my Visual Basic skills - a language I haven't used in quite a few years. At any rate, I'll do my best.
